|  | The Thomas Covenant Trilogies

One of my favorite series have been the THOMAS COVENANT trilogies, by Stephan R. Donaldson.
They are the stories of a man named Thomas Covenant, a writer who discovers that he has leporsy, & becomes an outcast in his own community. He finds himself propelled into a magical place called THE LAND, where he is regarded as a reincarnation of the lands hero, even though he stedfastly denies the lands existance. He is more of an "anti hero", & yet-he does manage to save it,even if he doesn't believe in it.
It is an excellant series!
